A whole mess of high-quality folks have put together Crooked Timber, a nice joint weblog venture. While some weblog industry analysts question the consolidation of such giants—what will happen to competition? they ask—I think this is smart leveraging of brands that, though united, will remain distinct in voice and high in value.
