Knowledge Management is a field of work/study on work organization and the management of information (a hot topic in businesses these days, seeking to realize the "knowledge equals power" paradigm), and it has been merged in some ways with weblogging -- they're calling it klogging (again, do we really need shorthand for this? knowledge logging -< klogging?), and when mixed with Movabletype's trackback system, we get one implementation of a kind of knowledge logging system. Is this klogging about klogging? Either way, it's a partial example of the benefits of scale achieved when enough users implement trackback.
At some point, all this *gging will just be so much navel-gazing. Belly-logging! Now there's a term that actually goes with blogging.
