My dad has carried a small, black schedule book in either his back pocket or his briefcase -- never far away -- for thirty years. Why mess with what works? So, when his clinic bought him a Palm Pilot m130, he gave it a good honest try, but decided to stick with the little black book. As a result, he sent me the palm. In the following days, I'll see if it improves my productivity, or if it just gives me something else to play with when I should be preparing for my next preliminary exam. Anybody have any good games for this thing?

One thing's for sure: After tinkering with it for a couple of hours, I'm pretty sure that I could write more quickly in a little black book than in "grafitti!"

  1. Ditto. I love gadgets and lust after friends' pda's. Then I go to the store all ready to buy and after trying to scribble out some notes on the things, I decide they still don't compare with my personal analog assistant. Long live scratchpads and agendas.
