After living in Tucson for nearly three years, there are still plenty of places we haven't been, things we haven't seen, and restaraunts we haven't tried. It's remarkable how having company in town (Heather's second-eldest brother, in this case) prompts us to do all three. Today's stop was Tucson's botanical gardens, a cultivated oasis right in the middle of town, and without a blade of bermuda grass in sight. The gardens have a large section of native plants and flowers in a low-water use exhibit, as well as fountains, herbs, and a greenhouse-enclosed tropical plant exhibit.
