 Progress

A busy week here at Coalition Headquarters. I’ve finished two papers and have submitted them to journals. They’re both social movements papers, and one of them (co-authored with my former officemate Jennifer Earl) continues exploring the strategic voting movement during the 2000 U.S. presidential election. My first publication, “The New Site of Activism: On-Line Organizations, Movement Entrepreneurs, and the Changing Location of Social Movement Decision Making,” came out in January (after a long delay at the publisher), and can be found in Research in Social Movements, Conflicts and Change volume 24, pages 155-187.

All this, and I built a fetching redwood plant stand-slash-bench, too!

  1. 1. Lynx doesn't like your comments link on the front page. I have to go to the page where I can just add comments. 2. No link to your article? You expect me to visit one of those buildings filled with books to read this thing?

  2. Lynx? Yow. Comments have a javascript popup -- so lynx won't like that. Because maintaining compatibility with gopher- and WAIS-era browsers is an important consideration, I'll look into it. I think I have PDF of the article around somewhere. Unfortunately, the full text isn't online anywhere.
