It turns out there’s a whole bunch of Lego Batman sets. Somehow, Batman as a little Lego guy is highly appealing.

Creepy but cool! (Or cool-looking, as I don’t yet own the bigger Batman sets.)
The Batman line does mark a milestone of sorts, as it includes realistic guns for the villians and their henchmen — at least in the U.S. The guns are actually provided in separate bags, perhaps so they can be omitted in markets that are more sensitive about guns. Along the same lines, the Dino Attack sets were originally released in the U.S., then de-militarized for foreign consumption.
