I think something is missing from MSNBC’s morning poll, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

i was watching when they announced the poll, and i thought it’d be a “yes” or “no” question, not an “either/or.”

I’m rather pleased that it doesn’t reinforce the sort of binary opposite thinking that’s so common in garden-variety surveys. It also provokes the poll-taker to make the oft-overlooked choice not to respond to the poll at all. Well done, MSNBC.
