Netflix has launched a public test of its streaming Mac movie player. I gave it a brief try and it seems to work well. Only downside: It requires installing Microsoft's Silverlight plugin.
I watched the movie player using IE last weekend and i was surprised by the level of quality of the streaming. It was just like watching a DVD. Unfortunately, they don’t yet have a plug-in that works with Firefox.

Well, now you don’t need IE — just a Mac. That’s way better anyway
